The Tokyo Briefcase originated from a conversation with Carl, a friend and talented industrial designer (as well as a proud owner of a Tokyo Bag). The design is a derivative of our classic Tokyo Bag. The bag is long and narrow and features a zip top closure, leather handles, 8 pockets and a protective leather layer on the floor of the bag. This prototype was crafted in our Portland design studio from domestic waxed canvas and vegetable tanned leather and one industrial metal zipper.
